Yesterday my kids had a fun afternoon entertaining themselves by wearing their jackets backwards and putting things in the hoods of their jackets. Whatever keeps them entertained, I say.
They were having fun, and things got a little disturbing when they turned them into this. But, hey, I’ll say it again. Whatever works.
It made the baby cry, but he’ll get over it, I’m sure. So, I have to admit, that I was really tempted to say, “Hey guys! Why don’t you tuck your little arms inside and I’ll tie your empty arm holes up. (Anyone know where I’m going with this?) Make shift mini straight jackets. Wouldn’t hurt would it? I mean, imagine the possibilities!
Need to get something done without a toddler getting into things? Put him in the straight jacket!
Time out? No worries, bring out the mini straight jacket
Want to teach junior a lesson for running with scissors? Let’s say it together. Straight jacket!
I don’t know, I’m just working out the kinks, but I think I’m on to something. Let me know if you want to take it Shark Tank with me. Just an idea.
PS- Don’t look up straight jacket on Pinterest. Weirdo stuff there.
*please excuse the poor quality iPod photos in this post.
I can’t take too long to comment…I have to go and find a sweater with long enough sleeves to tie Jp up. I mean, straight jacket him.
Whatever. I just heard a few minutes of peace and I’m on board. 😉
Such funny kiddos!
Genius!!! I am in with this idea!!! The Sharks will LOVE it!!
