Saturday Project: A Book Ledge

I’ve been feeling the itch since the new year started to organize everything in sight. So far, I’ve been very unsuccessful! But, I decided Saturday would be devoted to some sort of organization project. If I can do at least one a week….eventually I’ll be organized right?

So, of course, toys are organization priority number one. Do you ever feel like you’re drowning in them?   Sometimes, I find it down right disgusting. So, I’m always looking for a way to tame the toys. Well, a light bulb went off when I thought of this unused space in my bedroom!

 

No. I’m not going to put toys up there. But, I thought it would be a great space for books!! And, voila!!

I’m not in love with everything up there, but, I figure I can change things out as I get money to buy things I like better.

 

But, in moving most of my book collection up there, I have TONS of shelves now for toys in the basement. I don’t know why I hadn’t thought of that before!!

Now, I’m actually looking forward to next week when I can hopefully purge some toys!
