The past 5 days have been crazy. My 5 year old had his tonsils and adenoids removed along with tubes put in his ears. I’m too drained and tired to write the post I need to write about it….I do want to share some tips for other parents that have to go through this, but there has been way too little sleep for me to want to write. So, this will have to do. 🙂 Link up your parenting posts though! I want to read them. I’ll be back later this week with a proper post about our tonsil adventures. Here’s a photo of heartbreaking cuteness to tide you over.

I haven’t gone through this with my kids (yet!) but I have had my tonsils removed… TWICE! I can imagine how drained you are (my son did have teeth surgery when he was 3) and I still remember vividly the effect of anesthetics on him!
TWICE? How does THAT work?
Aw, he looks so sweet. I hope he hasn’t suffered too much and at least it’s over and done with now, so hopefully you won’t have any more problems.
Poor bug! Hope you all are getting some much deserved rest. (So impressed you’re managing any posts at all. You go, girl.)
He is so sweet with his lovey in that photo. I hope he is feeling better soon!
Yikes – you have had a rough week…
I hope he is feeling better soon! Hang in there.
Pour little guy! I hope he’s doing well and I hope you are too. I’ve been through an operation with my eldest. Just daytime eye surgery, but I remember holding her down as she struggled against anesthesia. I think the lack of understanding is mostly a blessing, but it just makes you as the parent feel that much more responsible for it all – and I get tired. Hope everyone is on the mend.
I’m having trouble getting your “button” onto my post. I copy and pasted this:
but it shows up as just the writing, no image.
oh, well it didn’t show up at all when I did it there..
never mind, I got it! So sorry about that!
