I don’t know about you, but I love a good burger. But, here’s the catch. I don’t eat beef. So, ground turkey has become my go-to for burgers. But, I want my burger to be juicy and moist, and this turkey burger is soooo moist. I even make these garlic pepper parmesan turkey burgers in a skillet on the stovetop sometimes. YUM!
If you like pepper and cheese, I promise you’ll be making this recipe all the time, and I don’t know what it is that makes these burgers so dang juicy, but they are.

Garlic Pepper Parmesan Turkey Burgers With Fresh Basil

Ingredients
1 lb. ground turkey
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tablespoons olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/2 tbsp. pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1 tbsp. shredded parmesan or romano cheese
4 Whole Wheat Buns
Fresh Basil
Tomato
Preheat grill on high.
Mix first seven ingredients in a bowl and divide meat and use a burger patty press to form 4 even patties.

Grill for 3-5 minutes on each side or until meat reaches 160 degrees. I used my George Foreman grill in the winter and they turned out awesome. Remove from grill and serve on whole wheat buns. Top with fresh basil leaves and tomatoes. That’s it! Pretty easy, right?
