Pancakes are just not my thing. Are you shocked? I’m weird, I know. But the truth is, I went to this little Bed & Breakfast near Bryce Canyon, UT one time, and they served pancakes. And, I ate them. And, they were amazing! The secret, they told me was in the syrup. And, they gave me the recipe. YUM! If you ever have a chance to stop by Bryce Point B&B, you’ll love their pancakes. So, here is the recipe for what I’ve named Homemade Apple Cider Syrup.
Homemade Apple Cider Syrup
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Corn Starch
- 1/2 tsp. Pumpkin Pie Spice
- 2 Cups Apple Cider
- 2 Tsp. Lemon juice
- 1/2 Stick Butter
- Mix sugar, corn starch, and pumpkin pie spice.
- Then add apple cider and lemon juice.
- Bring to a boil, and once it's at a boil, and your butter.
That’s it! Serve warm over your favorite pancakes.
