I don’t know about you, but I’m always looking for a sweet tooth fix. I have a serious problem. And, one thing that I LOVE is strawberry shortcake. But, sometimes the calories just don’t seem worth it.
This low calorie strawberry shortcake dessert is the perfect way to satisfy those cravings but not go overboard when you’re trying to eat healthy.
With sweet strawberries, low fat cool whip, and reduced fat graham crackers, it’s an easy snack that you can make in seconds. And, you know what I love about this? Your kids will eat it too, and you’ll even get a little bit of healthy fruit in them.
Reduced Fat Low Calorie Strawberry Shortcake Dessert Ingredients:
- Vanilla or Reduced Fat Graham Crackers
- 1 container of Strawberries
- 1 8 oz. tub of Reduced Fat Cool Whip
Reduced Fat Low Calorie Strawberry Shortcake Dessert Directions:
Start by cutting each graham cracker in half.
Next slice your strawberries (long ways). Make sure to keep them sliced thin. Place 4 strawberries on the top of one graham cracker.
Take the other half of your graham cracker and place about 1 and 1/2 tablespoons of cool whip on top.
Place the two halves together as shown. Place in the freezer for 2 to 3 hours. Serve and enjoy!
